Chen Chen, a third year undergraduate student in MIE has won first place in the 2009 CORS Student Paper Competition for his paper titled Robust Portfolio Selection for Index Tracking (jointly authored and supervised by Prof. Roy Kwon) and will be presented an award at the upcoming CORS/INFORMS Conference in Toronto this June.
