Graduates, we congratulate you – our extraordinary, hard-working and brilliant Engineering students.

Congratulations new graduates

As you officially move on from the University of Toronto on Tuesday, November 9, both faculty and staff take pride in knowing that you, along with our 40,000 Skule™ alumni before you, will make a significant and powerful difference in this world.
We see you as future engineers who will forever be on the cutting edge – innovating, influencing and leading.

We thank the parents, families, friends, spouses and partners, as their endless support during your academic career has led you to this momentous occasion.

It is due to their encouragement, as well as your commitment and hard work, that this fall, 29 undergraduates and 284 graduates will become our newest alumni. Among you, 15 undergraduates completed the PEY program and 27 followed the ELITE graduate program.

At the 11 a.m. ceremony, we are honoured to have one of the university’s most prestigious academics, Professor Janice Stein, the Director of the Munk School of Global Affairs, join us to share her valuable insight. As a member of the Order of Canada, a Trudeau Fellow and fellow of the Royal Society of Canada, we know you will be inspired by her words.

Following the ceremony, we invite you and your family to join us at the reception being held in the East Common Room in Hart House from 1 to 3 p.m.

On behalf of faculty and staff, I congratulate you on your outstanding accomplishment. Please keep in touch; we look forward to hearing of your continued successes.
